How to harvest: Choose the largest fattest leeks in the bed. Grab the individual leek by the base and gently pull whilst twisting, a bit like removing a screw. You could use a harvest knife or scissors to cut the leek away from the roots, leaving them in the ground to feed the soil ecosystem.
