How to harvest: Pick the outer leaves by hand or with scissors. Leave the central leaves in place for repeated harvests. Younger leaves are the most tender & flavourful.

Meal ideas: Strip the leaves away from the central stem (this is too tough to eat). Toss them in salads or add them to sandwiches for a surprising yet delicious cucumber taste. Also use it as a herb in yoghurt dips, with cottage cheese as a baked potato filling, or in potato or egg salads. Some recipe ideas here. It can also be used to flavour water or cocktails!
