Price: € 1,50/ 100g

Meal ideas: You can basically use this in any way you would spinach, except that it withstands cooking much better and different varieties offer a whole range of flavours and textures. Use in quiches, pies & omlettes, bake in the oven until lightly crispy, use raw in salads or throw into a stir fry. The green variety, due to it's thick stems, makes a good replacement for kangkung (Chinese Water Spinach) in an array of East and South-east Asian dishes.
